Delicious Moments

I have a serious problem, I can not say NO to desserts, I can spend all day eating sweets, I just love it sooooo much, when I'm traveling I always looking for a nice place to have a delicious dessert.

Buenos Aires was not an exception, I found such a lovely places most of them around Palermo. Loved to be in a peaceful place, where you can go alone to read a book, work with your computer and have a nice cake and tea, of course is always a pleasure to share with a friend to gossip a bit :)

Pani and Bartola are my favorites, they remind me London, that makes it even more special for me. All my friends knows London is very special for me, I'll write soon about my life in London.

Well, enjoy the pictures I took while I was eating a delicious dessert.

Quite Distracted

Well, what can I say, the title says it all; It's been a long time since last posted. I was well distracted, as I said before I'm in Buenos Aires. Yes, I still here! I'm planning next step in my live, I will tell you soon what is going on.
Mean while,  I went out a couple of times for fresh air, I took several photos, I want to share with you.

Baires is surrounded by unique places and particular styles; the Paris of Latin America, the locals have such a great style, the city is pretty much artistic compared to the rest of Latin America cities I have visited and the atmosphere is very energetic.

I have to admitthat this city has its charm and I'm delighted.
I'll show you a place that has a lot of style and glamor:
National Museum of Decorative Art.

This house belonged to a wealthy family in the eighteenth century, today it's open to the public as a museum of decorative art:  It concentrates much of very important pieces of European artist, mostly French.

No more to say, here are some pictures.

 I hope you enjoy it.

So, let’s start the weekend full of energy after a weeks I spent either sleeping...

Buenos Aires: the city that never sleeps

Last week, I was working too hard, I was in serious need of escaping from crazy Caracas; Argentina was it!

I got to Buenos Aires yesterday morning , I'm so exited to be here, specially because I'm visiting a special person in my life, also I have met many argentines in London, fortunately we keep in touch, I'll see them soon.

When I was living in London, I had the opportunity to visit beautiful European cities but I have to say that Buenos Aires is in my top 5.

This city inspires me so much so new post coming soon

Back to the 20's, Back to romanticism

The Roaring 20´s are back in fashion on the runways and on screen.
Cue the flappers, the fringe, the beads and the bobs.
Yesterday, I went with some friends to see the film "The Artist" It was like stepping back in time in the ornate picture house as the authentic black and white film began to roll. With almost no dialogue and music that you are sure to remember for long after, it’s definitely worth going to see. Along side the anticipation for the 2nd Gatsby film, due to hit screens later this year, the 1920′s era is sure to influence our creativity over the next few months. Flapper inspired dresses, beaded hats and tassels are expected on mood boards for the coming season.

When it comes to retro fashion, the 1920s look is simple and sexy and romantic at the same time. It’s very easy to wear. And because the shapes are so simple, they are a blank slate for embellishment. It covers all the bases one wants for a successful fashion moment.

It started in September at the spring 2012 fashion shows, with Ralph Lauren's "Great Gatsby" gowns, Tory Burch's sportswear inspired by Coco Chanel and 1920s Deauville, and Frida Giannini's Art Deco black-and-gold fringed flapper dresses at Gucci.

The most important after party
84th Annual Academy Awards

Who sparkled? Who was the best/worst Dresde of the night?  Who missed the brand?

The Oscars are the Super Bowl of movie star fashion. Yes, it's all about the little gold guy, but nothing shines brighter than the stars on the after party. Forget the trophies and adulation; the Academy Awards are really about one thing: famous people getting drunk, having fun and being photographed! After the 84th annual Oscars finished up and in what felt like record time! everyone was jonesing for a little bit of bubbly.

Let's take a look at what you all came to see.
